All certificates will be posted first class and to be signed for, as soon as they arrive in school, around mid November/early December every year. We will not hold any certificates in school.
Please look after your certificates as they are the official documents that you will need to provide universities/employers etc. Please note we are not allowed to keep copies of certificates and if you have lost or mislaid them you will need to contact each exam board direct for replacements.
Half of the cohort achieved 8 or more grade 9-7 and a nearly one-quarter of the cohort achieved 8 or more grade 9-8. Four pupils achieved straight grade 9s.
Sixth Form students also performed well in the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), with 32 per cent achieving the top grade of an A* and 83 per cent achieving A*-B. Well over 200 students in the Sixth Form take the EPQ in addition to three A Levels.

At GCSE just over half of the cohort achieved 9 or more grade 9-7, with a quarter (25%) of the cohort achieving 9 or more grade 9-8”. Eleven pupils achieved straight grade 9s, a further eighteen pupils achieved all grade 9/8s.
GCSEs in 2020 maintained high standards with 24% of all grades a 9, and nearly half of all grades being 9/8. In addition, an impressive 79% of all pupils achieved 9-7 in the core subjects of Maths and English and 100% of students gained 5 or more GCSEs at 9 to 4 grade. Cranleigh also celebrated another excellent set of A Level results, with 22% of grades at A*, 85% of grades at A*-B and an overall pass rate of 100%.
GCSEs in 2019 maintained high standards with 20% of all grades a 9, and nearly half of all grades being 9/8. In addition, an impressive 77% of all pupils achieved 9-7 in the core subjects of Maths and English and 99% of students gained 5 or more GCSEs at 9 to 4 grade. Cranleigh also celebrated another excellent set of A Level results, with 77 per cent of grades at A*-B and an overall pass rate of 100 per cent.
GCSEs in 2018 maintained high standards with 26% of all grades a 9, and 55% of all grades being 9/8. In addition, 68% of all grades were 9-7 (equivalent to A*-A) and 99% of students gained 5 GCSEs at 9 to 4 grade. Cranleigh also celebrated record academic results at A Level with 80% of A Level grades at A*- B.
GCSEs in 2017 celebrated record GCSE results, with 100% of students gaining 5 GCSEs at A* to C grade and with 36% of all grades an A* and 68% of all grades being A*/A. Cranleigh also celebrated another successful year at A Level, with 71% of A Level grades at A*-B and an overall pass rate of 99%.
GCSEs in 2016 maintained high standards with 99% of students gaining 5 GCSEs at A to C grade. Cranleigh also maintained its strong academic results at A Level with 75% of A Level grades at A – B.
GCSEs in 2015 maintained high standards with almost a third of all grades an A and 88% in the A-B category. At A Level the A*-B results remained consistent at just over 79%.
