It was another action-packed week of sport across the school.
Tennis
Our tennis teams delivered strong performances against KCS Wimbledon and Hurstpierpoint, with wins at 1st and 2nd team levels. The Boys’ 2nd, 3rd, 16A, and 14A teams, along with the Girls’ 15A and 14B teams, also secured victories.
Athletics
Our junior athletes competed in a meet against Epsom, once again performing exceptionally well against strong competition and showcasing impressive talent and determination. Cranleigh won the 4x200m and, the boys U16 team achieved a new school record! The runners were Zac W., Zac B., Sam M. and Danny L. At the Waverley trial, Sam M. won his heat in both the 100m and 200m, and there were also wins (in their heats) for Benji W. (1500m), Daisy B. (100m) and Bethan L. (Javelin).
Cricket
Cricket saw a full slate of fixtures last weekend. The Boys’ 14D team made their debut, and despite the result, Alex B. stood out with an impressive half-century—especially commendable given his last-minute call up.
The Boys’ 1st XI secured another commanding win away to Tonbridge, while Josh H scored a superb 102 for the 15B team in their victory—marking the school’s second century of the season following Nat A’s ton against the MCC 12 days earlier.
The Girls’ 14A and 15A teams both won against Bradfield, with Saskia P. taking a brilliant hat-trick in the 14A’s 62-run win. The 15A Girls edged a thrilling match by just one run.
The Boys’ 2nd XI added to the drama with a last-over win, clinching the match with three balls to spare and just one wicket in hand.
During the week we saw East House win the Senior Boys House cricket. The 14D’s won their match and Our 1st XI Girls side won in the next round of the cup with another terrific innings by Captain Abby S. Thursday saw 13 matches against Charterhouse. We as a school won 11 out of the 13 across our Girls and Boys teams. There were some outstanding individual performances; Noah O. (64 runs in the 14A’s boys victory), Jack W. (scored 66 runs for the 3rd XI boys team), Alfie S.(98 runs for the 4th XI boys team), Emma C. (24 runs) & Orla R. (45 runs) in the 14A girls victory.
Golf
During the week, the Senior side drew with the Old Cranleigh Golf team in a superb match. We also saw our senior side playing Wellington on Thursday and our Senior House matches this week. Congratulations to Loveday / Rhodes for winning the senior House matches in what was a great contest.
Touch rugby
Our U15/U14 Touch team played a warm up game against Cranleigh rugby club winning on Tuesday night in preparation for their tournament today.

- 15A Girls’ Cricket Team
Awarded for not only two excellent wins—in the Cup and on Saturday—but also for their exemplary conduct on and off the pitch. Opposition coaches and umpires praised their sportsmanship and team spirit. - 2nd XI Boys’ Cricket Team
Recognised for their resilient run chase against a strong Tonbridge side. In a game where the odds often seemed against them, the team showed determination and composure to seal a memorable win in the final over.
