Dino Lamb-Cona (L6th East) is the latest Cranleigh pupil to be announced in an International rugby squad. Dino has beenXXX_6876 picked for the England U17 squad for the upcoming international matches during March and April. This squad involves 24 of the country’s best players.

Dino has been representing Harlequins U18’s in the recent Academy League alongside Ben Gasson (U6th North) and Ben Sackey (L6th Loveday). It is a particularly remarkable achievement because Dino has only been playing in the forwards for the last season, moving from the backs into the number eight position. Dino is the second boy in three years to be capped at this level from the School.

Hopefully following in Dino’s footsteps are three of the current U15’s. Both Harry Barlow and Jamie Barden have beenXXX_6989 selected for the upcoming U15 Harlequins game vs Worcester academy on Tuesday 17th February and Dillon Stingemore has been selected to play for Surrey U15’s this Sunday.

We wish all of them the very best in their future playing careers.

Andy Houston (Director of Rugby)
