On Saturday October 8th two Old Cranleighans started for Harlequins RFC against Leicester Tigers at Welford road. Sam Smith and Seb Stegmann both started on the wing and both scored in Harlequins’ victory, helping them extend their lead at the top of the Premiership. Sam and Seb have recently represented England at Junior levels and the School is immensely proud of their achievements. Andrew Houston, the Director of rugby, said that “it is incredibly pleasing to see two former pupils fulfilling their goals and playing top flight rugby. It serves as a great example for all the players at School that with hard work and dedication, they too can achieve great things”.
