On Friday 18th May, Cranleigh hosted its third annual invitation girls’ golf competition on the School course. A record number of entries were received, with 34 girls representing 7 different schools, taking part. In the U15 section, the home side provided both prize-winners. Chloe Nicholls retained her title, with Clemmie Ryder-Smith achieving 2nd place in this older category. In the U13 section, there were three prizes awarded; all were won by girls from Windlesham House. Despite the damp weather, a great time was had by all, and it was good to see so many girls, ranging from those with handicaps to those who were relative beginners, enjoying the opportunity for a fun, but competitive, afternoon of golf.
