The rugby season has started with a real bang and, nearing the half-way stage of the XVs season, the School has an impressive record.

Out of the 50 matches played in block fixtures (plus 1st XV and Colts A matches) the School has recorded 37 wins, 1 draw and 12 defeats.

The 1st XV have won four out of their first five matches, amassing an impressive 231 points already.

There are a number of teams who still remain unbeaten, including the 2nd and 3rd XV, but arguably the most impressive record is that all four teams (A-D) at the U14 age group remain unbeaten.

Andrew Houston (Director of Rugby) emphasised that “although results are going our way, the really important aspect is the way in which we are playing and effort the School is putting into our training. I am glad the hard work is paying off in terms of victories for so many sides, but, we must keep remembering that results are only a small part of the story.”
