Cranleigh’s first inter-school climbing competition was a huge success, and everyone from both Charterhouse and Cranleigh enjoyed the nineteen new problems set on the School’s bouldering wall (with some of the Charterhouse competitors re-attempting climbs just because they were so good).

Cranleigh performed fantastically well as a team, offering advice and support for each new person’s attempt, and were the overall winners with a convincing victory of 691 points to Charterhouse’s 308, although they did experience some individual success with George GC finishing second overall. The whole event had a really friendly atmosphere, and a re-match next term is eagerly awaited.

Nat McAleese-Park (LVIth, Loveday)

Editor’s note: Climbing Club captain Nat is modest not to mention that he won the indivdual competition by a large margin.
