The 1st XI retained the St George’s Sixes Cup back in September, coming out on top of 28 of the best school teams in the country. They have had mixed fortunes in their block fixtures losing to Sevenoaks and King’s Canterbury, but, with all of the injured players returning for the first time in the last match before Long Leave, they recorded an excellent 3-2 win over a strong side from Sir William Borlase. They are also through to the Surrey Finals at Charterhouse on Monday 12th November.
The U16A team have done very well to win all of their six block fixture matches so far, scoring 28 goals and conceding just 2. The U15A team have also created a remarkable record: winning all of their six matches, scoring 36 goals and conceding 4. Both of these teams contributed players for the successful U16 county squad which topped their group in the Surrey Heats, and won the Surrey title for the first time in a thrilling final.
The U14A team have managed to follow in the footsteps of the other two by winning all six matches scoring 27 goals and conceding just 1: they begin their quest in the Surrey Heats on Thursday 15th November. Other notable records include the 3rd XI and the U14B team who have both won three out of five matches including victories against Eastbourne and King’s Canterbury.
