Former 2013/14 1st XV Captain Sam Arnold has been selected for the Ireland U20 squad for the upcoming Six Nations Tournament.
Sam signed a professional contract with Ulster in the summer and has been playing regularly for the Ulster Ravens in the British and Irish Cup. Sam is a centre who has represented Ireland U18 for the last two seasons; he is one of the youngest members of the current squad who will also be available for that age group next season.
Sam is following in the footsteps of previous 1st XV players who have played over the last couple of years in this prestigious tournament with the likes of Henry Taylor, Will Collier, Sam Smith and Seb Stegmann all being capped at that age group.
We wish Sam all the best.
