Cranleigh riders will represent both Cranleigh and Surrey at the National County Championships at Bury Farm, Bucks in April following wins at both the Surrey Dressage and Senior Show Jumping Championship over the weekend. At the dressage competition it was a clean sweep for Cranleigh, with teams taking Gold, Silver and Bronze positions. The senior team of Chantelle Phillips; Caileigh Faure, Lucy Collecott and Josh Moore (Prep) took the top spot just ahead of two young teams; Maria Mark, Amy Scheijde, Flora Philips and Lulu Garlick in second and Alex Moor, Issi Holidge (Prep), Sam Hollidge and Poppy Watkinson in third. Chantelle
Phillips will also represent Surrey as the individual Prelim Champion, just missing out on the top spot in the Novice test too. Lulu Garlick was second individually in the Prelim.
On Sunday the Intermediate show jumping team of Caileigh, Chantelle, Lucy and Jess Pilling took the Surrey team title whilst Freya Hough took the individual title. Josh Moore out-jumped all his older team members to take the Open title and will represent Surrey in this class in April.
Next weekend the junior riders compete at their Surrey Championship and will be hoping to emulate their senior counterparts.
