helen-wareham-finalists_9682Olivia Chesser, who left Cranleigh this year and gained two A* grades for A level Chemistry and Biology, has received a Cambridge Pre-U Award for gaining the highest mark in the country in her Pre-U Further Maths!  She was delighted to gain a D1, the highest grade possible, for this subject but had no idea that she had done so phenomenally well in this demanding subject until this week.

Olivia, who was an Academic and Music Scholar, enjoyed a busy schedule of activities whilst at Cranleigh, including being Leader of the Orchestra, a member of the School Chamber Choirs, an A team squash player and a regular member of the hockey and cross country teams.

She was a true Cranleighan in this respect, combining academics at the highest level with full participation in the extra-curricular life of the School.  She is now studying Natural Sciences at Cambridge.
