Fifty one students set out on their Bronze Practice Expedition this weekend on the 28th April. The weather held up and the groups walked more than 30 km over the two days, camping out in the Surrey Hills on Sunday night.

The assessed expedition is in June and I think it’s safe to say that the groups now feel much more prepared to take on the challenge after this weekend. Overall, everyone learnt a lot and despite some interesting navigation and some sore feet, a lot of fun was had. Thanks to the 12 members of staff that gave up their time to help on the expedition.
