This weekend, we were proud to host the Knight Frank Schools Triathlon, part of a nationwide series organised by Restless Development, a brilliant charity empowering young people to become leaders and tackle some of the world’s biggest challenges.
Cranleigh has supported this fantastic event since 2017, and this year saw — over 900 students from School Years 3 to 8 take on the classic triathlon trio of run, bike and swim, competing in teams of four across our beautiful school campus.
750m run track
1000m cycle course
50m swim in the pool
While the children pushed themselves to complete the challenge, the whole day had a wonderful family feel — with parents, friends and supporters cheering them on, enjoying the atmosphere, and celebrating with a well-earned ice cream in the unexpected sunshine.
A huge thank you to every part of the Cranleigh community — facilities, catering, grounds, and our amazing staff and student volunteers — all of whom make this event possible right in the middle of a busy school term.
Sunday’s event was another tremendous success, with funds expected to exceed £100,000 for a truly inspiring cause.
Well done to all our young athletes — we’re already looking forward to next year!
