The Guildford U14 boys team won the National Supra League finals after a tight 1-0 victory over Wimbledon.

Zach D, Josh H and Jacob M played against Trojans in Nottingham in their first pool match. 2-0 up at halftime, they scored a third and then held out against a late comeback to win 3-2. Thirsk were despatched 3-0 before a 0-0 draw versus Sutton left them top of their group. So to the final, and although Guildford had a lot of control of the match, it was not until three minutes from end of time that they finally scored to become National champions.

In the Southern Counties league, Molly A captained her Surrey U15 team to victory over the eight game season. The first game day saw a 2-2 draw against London South but a win against Sussex 5-0. Game day 2 saw a 0-2 loss to Kent 2-0 and a win versus Bucks 3-2 leaving the team with a mountain to climb. Game day 3 produced wins over London North 2-1 and Oxon 2-0 leaving three teams tied at the top of the table. Game day 4, arch rivals and leaders on goal difference, Hampshire were 3-1 up but Surrey came back with Molly scoring in the last minute to earn a 3-3 draw. A 3-0 victory over Bucks improved Surrey’s goal difference. The next two games didn’t play out as expected and Surrey were confirmed as winners.

Congratulations to them all.
