On Tuesday, at the South East Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Managers’ conference,  Cranleigh was awarded  a certificate celebrating the dofe£2518.44 that our participants have put back into the community as the value of our volunteering section of the award over the last year.

This service based section is one of the four pillars of the D of E Award  whereby young people are encouraged to put something back into the community or the environment.  The monetary value is a reflection of their efforts, based on the minimum wage for young people.
