Mrs Rebecca Scott joined Cranleigh in September 2018 as Housemistress of South, and opened the fourth girls' boarding house, Martlet in September 2019. Mrs Scott and her husband Mr Jonathon Scott, Director of Drama at Cranleigh, have two young children. Mrs Scott was a Housemistress at Hurstpierpoint College before joining Cranleigh.
Outside of the house Mrs Scott teaches PE and biology, and studied Physical Education with QTS at Brighton. Mrs Scott is involved in all sports where possible, but mainly hockey, netball and athletics.

Miss C R HallPGCE, BA(Hons)
Miss Claire Hall teaches Spanish and French and is the Resident Deputy Housemistress of Martlet. Miss Hall completed both her undergraduate studies and PGCE at the University of Bristol and joined Cranleigh in September 2018 from The Gulf English School in Doha, Qatar.
Miss Hall coaches hockey and athletics, and helps backstage with costumes and make-up for school theatre productions. In her spare time she is studying Arabic, enjoys travel and never misses an episode of Neighbours.

Assistant Housemaster
Mr R M HardyBSc, PGCE
Mr Robert Hardy is Head of Physics and Assistant Housemaster of Martlet. He joined in September 2018 having previously taught at the Skinners’ School in Tunbridge Wells for six years. Before this Mr Hardy completed both his undergraduate degree in Physics and PGCE at Bristol University.
Mr Hardy enjoys coaching rugby and being a part of the athletics program in the summer term. Outside of school he enjoys spending time with his wife and their young daughter, he is a keen follower of American football.
