Last weekend, there were no matches due to the exeat, but it was still a busy and successful one for the riders. The dressage team won their National Qualifier, with individual wins and qualifications for Madeleine R. and Tara M.

The indoor hockey season began this week. The Girls U18 Indoor side won both matches and now proceed to the Surrey Finals. The U16 boys have also got through to the county finals. The 1st XI boys outdoor team also played another pre-season game to get ready for their tier 1 cup campaign which starts in 10 days time.

The golf team has also been active, competing against Charterhouse, ACS Cobham as well as against the Prep School. The girls’ golf jamboree and junior girls’ team are playing against Charterhouse today and it is great that even in the wet conditions, the golfers are out playing. It was also wonderful to see the 4th XI girls’ hockey side in action on Thursday, with another match scheduled this Saturday, which we hope will be the continuation of more opportunities for our pupils to play regular matches. The U14A girls netball side won in their friendly against Prior’s Field 21-15 on Thursday, which continues their wonderful start to netball life here at the School.

We are also delighted to announce that Matilda F. and Orla R. have been selected for the U14 Surrey Hockey Academy squad for this season. Congratulations to both of them!

On Saturday, we have large fixtures against Bradfield College for girls’ hockey and Brighton College for boys’ rugby. With the record rainfall in September, I would like to take this opportunity to thank our grounds team for their outstanding efforts over the past few weeks to keep the pupils training and the pitches in such great condition.

Please check our sports page here for information on start times and locations.
