This summer has seen a number of exciting developments for a some of the current and former 1st XV players. Seb Stegmann scored and played a key role in helping London Welsh gain promotion to the premiership. Seb starred for the 1st XV in 2007 and has gone on to represent both Harlequins and London Welsh. Henry Taylor has signed for Saracens and is currently in New Zealand playing for England U20’s at?????????????????????????????????????????????? the Junior world cup. Will Collier played for England against the Barbarians at Twickenham last week and will no doubt be looking to win his first full cap next season. Harry Elrington has been offered a trial with London Irish. Harry played for the 1st XV in 2011/12 and has been studying and playing rugby at Loughborough University. Seb Sharpe and James Cordy-Redden (2010/11) have been training with USA and Wales rugby sevens squads and will be hoping to be capped next year in the IRB sevens circuit. Sam Arnold and Charlie Piper (Current 1st XV players) have both recovered from their long term injuries and will be starting their professional contracts at Ulster and Harlequins respectively.

The 1st XV are currently preparing for their summer tour to Canada where they will be playing five matches in fifteen days against some of the best sides in and around Toronto. A number of the squad will be training in the elite development programme with Harlequins during the summer and we look forward to seeing them play next season.
