Last Friday (18th March 2016) the U18 sevens squad were victorious at the Rosslyn Park National Schools Sevens event for the first time in our 100 year history of playing the sport.
Rosslyn Park Sevens has evolved into the world’s largest school rugby tournament with some 7,000 boys and girls aged 13 – 18 competing annually. It is the only time each year that all the rugby playing Schools from England, Wales and Scotland come together to compete against each other.
In winning the tournament, the squad become the number one rugby sevens side in Britain and will be playing at Twickenham on the 22nd May in front of 60,000 people in a showcase match as part of the IRB world 7’s series.
