At Futures Cup the U15 Boys tournament saw Ben and Will’s team, Wessex Leopards, win silver. Having beaten Mercia Lynx 4-0 and Penine Pumas 3-2, they took the lead against Caledonian Cougars (Scotland) before succumbing 2-3 in a fast final.

In the Girls U15, Mattie Hamilton and Boau-Lilly Shepherd were in the Wessex Leopard side that came third after a shootout victory in the bronze medal match. They beat Mercia Lynx 3-0 before losing 2-3 to Caledonian Cougars (Scotland U16). They then drew 2-2 with Penine Pumas before claiming bronze with a 2-1 shootout win.

Olly Witts was in the Boys U17 competition. Having beaten Mercia Lynx 2-1, they were 0-3 down to Scotland U18 before rallying for a 4-4 draw which wasn’t quite enough for them to qualify for the final, missing out on goal difference. They finished by just losing another close match 3-4 to Saxon Tigers in the bronze medal game.

The Girls U17 Wessex Leopards included Rosie Hope and Ella Job who lost their first pool game 0-3 to Saxon Tigers before earning a creditable 1-1 with Caledonian Cougars. They finished by beating Celtic Jaguars (Wales) 2-0.
