On the 5th November the girls Houses took part in the first bouldering comp of the year. Teams of three turned up with an army of supporters and tested their climbing skills on ten different routes. Individuals were awarded points depending on the number of attempts it took them, ten points first attempt, seven for second attempt and five for a third and final attempt. Bonus points were awarded on a couple of the trickier problems if they reached a particular hold.

All the girls performed brilliantly, showing great determination, and were a credit to their House. Some had only started climbing this term.

Stand out performances came from Matilda Collins who scored a maximum 204 points, Daisy Littlewood who came 2nd and Grace Hall, a newbie, coming in 3rd.

House positions which will be added to the boys comp in January were:
1st South
2nd West
3rd Martlet
4th Rhodes
