Last Saturday, Georgia L made history as the first girl to ever score a cricket century at Cranleigh school.

Georgia is the captain of the 1st XI and scored 111 against the Surrey Academy. It’s a spectacular achievement as this is the first year we have run cricket as a full time sport for girls in the summer. Currently we have 20 girls doing full time cricket and another 19 girls doing one session a week.

We have fixtures each Saturday for the 1st XI which consists of girls from every year group and we have mid-week fixtures for those that are doing one session per week.

We are very proud of our girls and are delighted that we have teams in the U15 National Cup, U15 Surrey Cup, U17 Surrey Cup and U18 National Cup all of which begin next week.
