The Big Draw is a national initiative held every October to encourage everyone to make art and get drawing. For this years Big Draw at Cranleigh, our Lower Fifth artists enjoyed a full afternoon of workshops in painting, printmaking, 3D and photography.

In the painting studios, pupils were drawing with paint as if cubists. In printmaking, it was experiments with screen printing, while photography played with montage and image transfer. 3D used withies and a wet strength tissue paper to create large solid forms.

Students loved having the longer period of time to develop more sustained work and the outcomes will now feed into their GCSE coursework.
