Squash has a strong reputation at Cranleigh, and the School has four excellent courts with a viewing gallery and changing rooms. In the Michaelmas and Lent Terms senior and junior teams compete in regular competitive fixtures against other schools. Additionally, boys’ and girls’ house competitions take place. Team squad players are invited to attend a weekly coaching session (Mondays) run by Neil Frankland, an experienced coach who has worked at the School for over ten years. In the sixth form pupils can choose squash as their main sport during the winter terms. Squash forms part of the 4th form minority sport rotation, and recreational activity sessions are also available during priority time.
