Dr Dan Hogg is Head of Classics. He joined the School in September 2010, prior to which he was the Martin Senior Scholar at Worcester College, Oxford, where he completed his undergraduate and Masters degrees, and then completed his DPhil at Oriel College, Oxford.
Dr Hogg has previously taught at Oriel and the University of St Andrews, and was a Stipendiat of the Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst at the Ludwig-Maximilans-Universitaet, Munich. A Hockey Blue, he also runs the staff 5-a-side football team. He is married to Julietta and has two children, Zoe and Elijah.
