Emily Thorpe, one of our most successful junior athletes, competed for the Surrey County Team in the long jump on Saturday 15th June. She came 2nd with her best jump of the season, 5.07m (another school record!), not too far behind the winning jump of 5.25m. Although this was not a National Standard, the distance does qualify for the English Schools Standard so we will wait and see if Emily is selected to compete at the next English Schools competition in July. Very well done Emily!
