Lower Fifth Form Design students enjoyed a capital trip to London last week, taking in the iconic architecture of the South Bank and the Tate Modern, as well as a tour around its impressive galleries. Further inspiration came from the Design Museum’s exhibition series, Designs of the Year and a retrospective of Paul Smith’s contribution to the world of fashion. They also learned more about the process of design and how designers think and work with a gallery of Daniel Weil’s inventive objects, products and interiors.
