Last week saw a number of Cranleighans representing England as well as OCs appearing at the home of hockey at Lee Valley.

Harry Gough scored his first goal for the England under 16s in their 2-2 draw against Ulster last weekend. He followed this up with a second goal as he captained them in their 4-1 defeat of Scotland.

Izzy Petter and Zoe Allchurch were also playing against Scotland and Ulster for the England under 16 girls. Izzy scored her first two goals for201605 CC England u21 2 England and Zoe also scored hers, with a strike from the top of the D, as they won 2-0 versus Ulster, 3-0 against Scotland and 5-0 versus Ulster again.

Charlotte Calnan has been playing for the England under 21s against India this week and they recorded comfortable wins.

Finally, two OCs, Katie Batchelor and Ellie Smith, represented the University of Birmingham as they won the National Women’s 2nd XI Cup at Lee Valley, beating Clifton 2-0 in the final.
