On Monday evening we hosted our second Professional Supper of the term, for over 20 pupils who are interested in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) careers. We welcomed professionals from a waste to energy business, Engen Today, Synergy Health and SRE who pride themselves on ensuring the built environment enhances life without costing the earth. We were also treated to handling a cochlear implant from an audiologist.
Our very supportive professionals sat and chatted to our eager Sixth Formers and Upper Fifth, sharing their career journey and giving some words of wisdom. It is always so encouraging to see that you can achieve so much if you are determined and passionate to succeed. Degrees in Biology and Finance can lead to so many different career journeys.
Our Sports Industry Professional Supper earlier in the term was equally successful and informative for the Sixth Form. It is so exciting to see just where networking opportunities might lead to.
