On Tuesday 19th of November the School’s climbing club hosted Charterhouse climbing club for a bouldering competition. Nine climbers from each school competed over seventeen newly set problems in the approximate grade range Font 3 to 6c. Scoring was completed on the basis that if a climber completed (got to the top of) a problem on the first attempt he or she scored 10 points. Completing the problem on a second attempt scored 7 points whilst completing it on the third attempt scored 4 giving each climber a maximum of 170 to aim for.
Cranleigh won the overall fixture by 824 to 447 with the top three places going to Nat McAleese-Park (Cranleigh) 152, Phoebe Nelson (Charterhouse) 147 and Robbie Matthews (Cranleigh) 145.
