This week John Adams and the Lent Address team have been with us at Cranleigh sharing from Luke’s Gospel Jesus’ answers to some of the key questions faced in our lives today: ‘How do we deal with pressure?’ ‘How do we deal with problems of self-image?’ and ‘How can we make good life choices?’
As well as speaking at several voluntary evening meetings, John addressed the whole school in Chapel on Sunday night at Evensong, and again in the two mid-week chapel services. The team have been fully involved in school life; taking RS lessons, joining in with the sports and activities programme and in providing opportunities for the pupils to ask questions in the boarding houses.
It has been a fantastic week in which we have been challenged to think through our aims, ambitions and priorities in life through looking at the life of Jesus.
