TOURAID – tackling child poverty through sport!

On Wednesday 5th February the Cranleigh and St Joseph’s School Interact Club were delighted to welcome Andy Berry from Touraid to come and speak to the group about his charity. Touraid brings youngsters from the poorest and most deprived backgrounds over to the UK on sports tours, and this Interactpositive experience can really build confidence and change lives.

The Interact Club have been raising money for Touraid, amongst other charities, over the past twelve months, by selling cakes and wristbands.  Matt Wootten, the Club President was proud to present Andy with a cheque for £300.

The Interact Club runs in association with the Rotary Club of Cranleigh.
