Pangbourne Piano Festival

On Saturday February 28^th, Ben Wili and Millie Mazzone (both 4th Form) participated in the Pangbourne Piano Festival at Pangbourne College in Berkshire. This is a competitive festival and they were in the Advanced Junior class, 14 and under, Grade 7 plus. They were competing against diploma level candidates, and played faultlessly and confidently, earning themselves joint first place.  They were lucky enough to be able to play the College’s Steinway D piano which they really enjoyed. The adjudicator rated Ben’s playing as ‘first rate’, and Millie’s as ‘like painting a picture on canvas at the piano’.
