A soporific Friday afternoon towards the end of a tiring tem may seems like the very worst time to spend 3 hours  analysing artwork through group DSC_3401conversation, written tasks and debate! However ably led and coaxed by Alex and Andy from Art History Abroad (http://www.arthistoryabroad.com/the-bigger-picture.html) our Lower Sixth artists were able to get a better insight into the methods and approaches that Art historians follow. The afternoon included work on essay planning for the dissertaion they will write in the UVIth. The enthusiasm and enjoyment that Alex and Andy brought to the afternoon really brought the artwork studied alive.
