Congratulations to the six students who have been accepted for Oxford and Cambridge next academic year.

Five current Upper Sixth students will take up places this September, in a range of subjects. Emma Grainger will take Classics at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge. The remaining four will all accept places at Oxford.

Callum Job will study Chemistry at St Hilda’s College; Jonny Marsh takes Music at St Peter’s College; Joe Mellor has opted for Philosophy & Theology at Trinity College; and Tom Wates will study Archaeology & Anthropology at St Hugh’s College.

Willow Senior, who left Cranleigh in the summer, will also go to Oxford in September, to undertake a course in Fine Art.

This is an excellent set of offers for six Cranleighans who’ve worked extremely hard – from their GCSE year onwards – to achieve places on these exceptionally competitive courses. We’re particularly delighted that all of them have achieved at this highest academic level while also playing a full role in school life – whether it’s been representing Cranleigh on the sports pitch, appearing on stage, or performing in concerts.
