The 2019 Cyril Dashwood Piano Competition provided a varied and exciting evening of performances from our talented young pianists. The styles ranged from jazz, through Chopin, Field, Debussy, Brahms and Frank Bridge with the pianists capturing the essences of those styles perfectly. Natural musicianship was in abundance and there were many exciting and poignant moments.

The winners of the junior category were Will Marshall, Hannah Scriven and Lily Harding.

The three seniors who went through to the final were George Chilcott, Lina Mazzone and Millie Mazzone.

Well done to all the performers.
