Lower Sixth students Bella B. and Lucy W. have made it into the final shortlist for the Political Studies Association’s short video competition for 2021.

The competition is aimed at Sixth Form politics students across the country, getting them to dive deeper in to key political issues in an innovative way. The question for this year was ‘What do you want from the next President of the USA?’, with Bella and Lucy drawing on the strengths of past Presidents (including Kennedy and Obama) to make peace and heal the wounds in an increasingly fractured American society.

They will now present their video to a panel of judges in April, which will include leading journalists, pollsters and MPs.
