Britain is blessed with 529 mountains over 3000 ft (914.4m) which Dr Simon Young has been steadily ticking off over the last few years. By the end of October, when he tops-out on Carn Dearg, in the central Scottish Highlands, he will have climbed them all.
These have provided him with a physical challenge and vital mental release, so, to put something back, he is raising money on this page for Mind over Mountains and The John Muir Trust. Any contributions would be gratefully received.
