Upper Fifth artists travelled to Tate Britain on Tuesday to explore the British Art Collection, looking in depth at works related to their current theme of ‘A Sense of Place’.

Works by JMW Turner were particularly relevant, but students looked at a wide range of work including contemporary artists such as Wolfgang Tillmans.

A number of students were also given the time to sketch by the Thames.
