Drama is a vibrant part of Cranleigh Prep performing arts, with House plays, year-group productions and a Junior Play offering regular performance opportunities. Pupils build confidence, teamwork and self-assurance on and off stage. They can also take part in the LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art) programme, taught in school by trained teachers, developing confidence and communication skills through exams and performance work.

Music is an active part of Prep life, with classroom music, choirs, orchestras and ensembles running across the year groups. Two choirs and three orchestras create a rich musical culture, supported by specialist visiting teachers who offer lessons for most instruments. Pupils perform frequently in concerts, assemblies, services and productions, building confidence each time they take part.

Dance at Cranleigh Prep invites every pupil to move and express themselves, with ballet, contemporary and street dance all part of our varied programme. Specialist teachers support pupils to become confident performers, whether they are taking their first steps or aiming for Dance Scholarships. Performances across the year offer regular opportunities to shine.
