Why Culture Matters
Will my child fit in?
Will my child be known as an individual?
What if my child isn't the most academic?
What if my child is highly academic?
Will my child be stretched and challenged?
Will my child be happy?
How will Cranleigh prepare my child for the future?
How will Cranleigh prepare my child for the future?
The world our children will enter is changing faster than ever. Many of the jobs they will do may not yet exist. Technology, artificial intelligence and global change are transforming how we live and work.
That is why preparing pupils for the future means more than delivering excellent academic outcomes. At Cranleigh, we deliberately develop the skills that will help young people thrive throughout their lives, including creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, communication, digital fluency and AI literacy.
Our aim is not simply to prepare pupils for university or their first career, but to equip them with the confidence, adaptability and curiosity to succeed in a world that will continue to evolve.
Will my child become a good person?
Will my child become a good person?
We believe education is about character as well as achievement.
Through our value of Look out for Others, pupils develop empathy, integrity, respect and a sense of responsibility towards the wider world.
Whether through charity work, sustainability initiatives, leadership opportunities or community partnerships, pupils are encouraged to think beyond themselves and understand the positive contribution they can make to society.
Parents often tell us that who their child becomes matters just as much as what they achieve. We agree.
