A Connected Cranleigh Community

The Cranleigh Community is a lifelong network that begins at school and continues long after pupils leave. Every stage has its own strand — from current families to Old Cranleighans and global school partners — but all are part of one shared culture.

Relationships made at Cranleigh grow into friendships, alumni connections, professional networks and links across our international schools. Community here is active, not symbolic: it’s lived through events, mentoring, support and a strong sense of identity.

Whether families are in the UK or overseas, everyone is part of the same Cranleigh community.

What is the Old Cranleighan Society?

The Old Cranleighan Society (OCs) is a lifelong network for former pupils, offering community, connection and support long after school.

Through the OCs Network, members can access advice and mentoring at every stage — university, early careers and even career changes. The OC office also organises a wide mix of reunions each year, from golf days and decade gatherings to events for OCs overseas.

Sport is a big part of OC life, with a full‑time club at Thames Ditton running rugby and hockey teams, plus cricket, golf, tennis, shooting and netball. We also support interest‑based societies — from City and law to media, surveyors and adventurers — helping OCs connect socially and professionally.

Alumni are kept up to date with everything the society offers through social media, email updates and our annual magazine.

Cranleigh Network

The Cranleigh Network is a friendly and supportive community for former pupils, parents and friends of the school – a place to stay connected, share experiences and support one another. It brings people together from across the Cranleigh community, creating opportunities for networking, mentoring and practical support.

Under the banner of Cranleigh Futures, the network also runs CV workshops, interview‑skills seminars, university speed‑dating – where recent OCs share their experiences – and careers fairs, giving students and families the chance to explore a wide range of career paths with people who already work in those fields.

Cranleigh Friends

We bring our community together through Cranleigh Friends, our network of parents, students and staff, past and present. Cranleigh Friends organises community events such as the Christmas Fair, Fourth Form welcome events and the Leavers Ball. The Friends also support the professional networking space, the Cranleigh Network, which includes Old Cranleighans (OCs) and parents, helping our students to thrive. All current parents are automatically members of Cranleigh Friends.

Cranleigh International Schools

Cranleigh International Schools brings Cranleigh’s distinctive educational ethos to a growing global family of schools in Abu Dhabi, Changsha and Wuhan, with a new school opening in Hanoi in 2027. Built on genuine partnerships rather than licensing agreements, each school shares the same values, educational principles and commitment to academic excellence, pastoral care and character development as Cranleigh in the UK, while reflecting the culture and community it serves. Cranleigh Activities

Cranleigh Activities is the school's way of welcoming the wider community to use its facilities when they’re not in use by pupils.

It focuses on building positive links with local groups and generating income by hiring out spaces mainly for sport and other low‑impact events.

Cranleigh Activities is a brand name of Cranleigh Enterprises. The net profit earned by Cranleigh Enterprises Limited is donated annually to Cranleigh School under Gift Aid.
