Support Cranleigh
Leaving a legacy
Gifts made in Wills from our Old Cranleighan alumni, past staff, parents, grandparents and friends have a significant impact on Cranleigh School. These thoughtful and considered gifts have supported our Chapel, strengthened sports facilities, enriched music, helped fund the Cranleigh Foundation and created opportunities for Cranleighans to thrive.
You can discuss with us the opportunities to direct your gift according to your wishes. Most chose to leave an unrestricted legacy to Cranleigh School to be applied where the need is greatest at that time, some chose to support Cranleigh's future through new buildings that enhance and support innovative teaching and learning. Or you could choose to support students whose early life has been extremely challenging to join Cranleigh, making your legacy gift to the Cranleigh Foundation. Or if sport was a significant part of your life at Cranleigh and beyond, you might wish to support Cranleigh's sports facilities.
If you’re thinking about your Will, once friends and family have been provided for, you may want to consider leaving a gift to Cranleigh. You might choose to make it a personal legacy or to give in memory of someone special. Your gift helps secure the school’s future and keeps alive the values and spirit that have guided Cranleighans since 1865.
The difference leaving a gift in your Will can make
At Cranleigh, we believe that from culture comes strength. A gift in your Will helps create opportunities that shape young people’s futures and the future of Cranleigh School.
Gifts kindly left in Wills can:
- Open doors to new experiences – giving students access to activities, spaces, programmes and experiences they may not otherwise benefit from.
- Broaden horizons – supporting opportunities that help pupils discover interests, talents and future ambitions.
- Support life‑changing access to education – enabling Foundationers to thrive from a Cranleigh education.
- Leave a permanent mark on the fabric of Cranleigh – funding new spaces and facilities where pupils can develop confidence, independence and resilience.
