Congratulations to Piers Nicholls who achieved second placing in the 29er National Championships.

The 29er is a two-person dinghy and the highest performance, most challenging dinghy for young adults.  It is extremely fast and is a precursor to the 49er, which is the fastest and most exciting Olympic class.

As such the 29er class is very active with 100s of sailors and Piers is now in the frame to move onward within the RYA Elite Programme.

Piers and his helm came second overall, a very impressive result in this class.
