We are pleased to share that Alex F, Lower Sixth, has been selected for the England Cricket U19 test squad for their upcoming two test series with Sri Lanka later this month.

Alex has played a key role in a wonderful 1st XI cricket season with the side winning 15 of their 17 matches across all formats. Alex was the top wicket taker with 22 throughout the season including one 5 wicket haul. The side was led by Adam T who also broke the school batting record by scoring 1037 runs in one season! This is the first time a player has reached 1000 runs. The team this year included several players involved in county set ups who will be looking to Join Ollie Pope, Tom Lawes, Yousef Majid, Michael Burgess and Tommy Ealham in the professional ranks over the next few years.

We wish Alex all the best.
