Choosing a school is a big decision. Our friendly admissions team is here to help you at every stage of the joining process.

We welcome boys and girls from 3 to 18 years, offering one seamless journey from Prep to Senior. We are one school across two sites, and we share the same culture, aims and ethos. 

Our longstanding co-educational culture provides an environment where girls and boys are comfortable together, learn to respect and value one another and be themselves, not just in the classroom but in every aspect of school life.

As our latest ISI inspection report says, we have ‘a positive learning environment where academic achievement and pupils’ wellbeing are equally valued and where pupils flourish.’

We are mindful of the needs of modern working families and the need to offer flexible options. Our Day option is perfectly suited to families living close to school; Day pupils participate fully in the academic, sporting and co-curricular life of the school. 

Day Plus pupils can stay overnight in their boarding house one night a week, or for two nights at an extra cost. This particularly suits pupils with sports or evening activities and those who want to enjoy a taste of the boarding experience.

Three quarters of pupils at our Senior site are Boarders, creating a vibrant community. We have eight boarding houses and boys and girls houses are twinned, encouraging our pupils to build friendships beyond their immediate circle. Boarders have the option of going home at weekends after sports on Saturdays although they can stay up to 7 nights a week if they want to. There’s a full programme of weekend activities to keep everyone entertained plus plenty of downtime after a busy week. We give our Year 9 Boarders the option of a night at home mid-week in their first year, to settle them into boarding life.
