From Breakfast Club to evening care, our wraparound provision gives families flexible support throughout the day.
What care is available beyond the Prep school day?
Cranleigh Prep offers flexible wraparound care that fits around busy family life. Children aged 3-8 can arrive bright and early from 7.30am for Breakfast Club, enjoy a full day of learning at Cranleigh Prep, then stay on for after-school clubs, supervised prep, tea and evening care. Throughout the day, pupils remain with their friends and usual staff in familiar surroundings, ensuring a warm and relaxed start and end to the day.
What food is provided in wraparound care?
For early morning care, pupils will be treated to what Prep boarders receive on the day. This includes the choice of the following:
- Hot offer of the day (e.g. pastries, pancakes, full english selection depending on the day)
- A selection of cereals
- Toast & jam selection
- Yoghurt and fresh fruit
- Juice and tea
For afterschool care, light snacks are provided, including a selection of sandwiches served with fresh fruit, yoghurts and vegetable crudites with dips. For those that book onto our evening care, pupils will again join boarders for a meal, which also includes a hot meal of the day, yogurt and fresh fruit, a healthy desert, and juice.
What activities are available in wraparound care?
There are plenty of activities for pupils to choose from after a day of learning at Cranleigh Prep. They can join clubs, take on creative projects, get involved in sport or enrichment activities, or choose something quieter, such as supervised prep, where they can finish homework with an adult nearby. There’s also time to relax and catch up with friends.
Wraparound care links naturally with Cranleigh’s programme of sport, music, drama and clubs, giving pupils even more opportunities to explore their interests beyond the school day.
How is wraparound care supervised at Cranleigh?
Wraparound Care at Cranleigh Prep is supervised by the same trusted staff who look after pupils during the school day. They are on hand throughout Breakfast Club, after-school activities, supervised prep, tea and evening care, helping ensure pupils feel safe, relaxed and well cared for from morning drop-off to evening pick-up.

How do I book wraparound care?
To book Wraparound Care simply email wraparoundcare@cranleigh.org. Families can book for a full term or arrange sessions as and when needed.

How much does the wraparound care cost?
7.30am - Breakfast Club, £5 per session
5.45pm - 6.30pm - Supper Club, £7.50 per session
6.30pm - 7.30pm - Evening Care, £30 per session
