Cranleigh School is set in 280 acres of Surrey countryside, eight miles from Guildford, and close to the thriving village of Cranleigh. The School enjoys a rural environment situated within an hour’s drive of London.
Founded in 1865 as a boys’ boarding school, the School is now co-educational and currently has around 600 pupils. Pupils arrive at the School aged 13 and leave after A Levels. The School has a strong partnership with the nearby Cranleigh Preparatory School (7 to 13) but pupils also join from a wide range of other preparatory schools across London and the South East.
Cranleigh is one of the biggest employers in the local area, with a large team of teachers, pastoral staff and bursarial support. All members of the School eat together in a central self-service Dining Hall.
